This masterclass introduces a rigorous, evidence-based approach to philanthropy for those seeking to maximise their impact. For many, the hardest part of giving isn't deciding to be generous - it's deciding where that generosity will do the most good. Participants will work through decision-making frameworks that account for cost-effectiveness and ‘neglectedness’ – two metrics frequently overlooked in traditional philanthropy. Through case studies, attendees will learn how to vet evidence without being a data scientist, and build a portfolio that prioritises outcomes without losing the joy of generosity.

Investing in the ‘how’ as well as the ‘what’: Implementation fundamentals for better philanthropy
