The Philanthropy Australia Conference is the premier national gathering for the philanthropic and for-purpose sector, bringing together funders, changemakers and innovators to connect, learn, and spark ideas that will mobilise and shape giving now and into the future.
The Conference is held every two years.
At the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre: Grey St, South Brisbane QLD 4101.
The core Conference will be held from Tuesday 8 September to Thursday 10 September 2026.
On Monday 7 September there will be optional Masterclasses, open to all. On Friday 11 September there will be optional Field Trips for Impact and Engage members of Philanthropy Australia.
Established and emerging civil society leaders and practitioners attend the Conference, representing every corner of the giving ecosystem, including:
• Individual philanthropists
• Trustees and C-suite executives
• Leaders of philanthropic organisations
• Leaders of corporate foundations
• Changemakers working and volunteering across the for-purpose sector
• Staff of corporate philanthropy and volunteering programs
• Giving circle representatives
• Social enterprises
• Intermediaries such as philanthropy consultants and financial advisors
• Public servants working with the philanthropy sector
We expect approximately 1000 people to attend.
