Breakout sessions are the engine of the conference, where participants dive into ideas, challenges and innovations shaping philanthropy and civil society today. Led by sector partners, practitioners and changemakers, these sessions run concurrently, allowing participants to curate their own Conference journey. Formats can vary from lightning talks, panels and fishbowls to world cafés and interactive discussions, creating opportunities for attendees to learn from others and ask questions.

Assessment criteria
Applications must demonstrate:

Collaboration: strong preference for partnerships or collaboration between multiple organisations.

Relevance: alignment with the Conference theme and streams.

Audience engagement: opportunities for audience participation, questions and discussion.

Diverse voices: representation across lived experience, geography, gender, age.

Proposed breakout sessions should NOT:

Be self-promotional or simply showcase an organisation's projects

Be delivered lecture style with no participant engagement
-
Be led by or promote a single organisation without collaboration from others
